Insectoid. Climbing is a natural movement mode for insectoids. The creature gains a CLIMB speed equal to its regular SPEED and does not need to make checks to climb. Such creatures can move on walls and ceilings normally.
Antennae. A Betrux’s antennae is capable of picking up e-m waves (making it able to act as a communicator receiver).
Mandibles. A Betrux’s mandibles make it able to chew through wood with ease, doing double natural damage to wooden objects and creatures.
Subspecies. Choose one of the following subspecies:
Swimmer. The Betrux has a SWIM speed equal to its normal SPEED with long, flattened legs covered in long, matted hair.
Digger. The Betrux has a BURROW speed equal to its normal SPEED; this movement mode can only be used in soft earth such as soil or mud; it cannot be used to dig through rock or stone.
Glider. The Betrux’s shell includes a pair of wings which allow it to fly distances up to its SPEED as long as it lands at the end of the move.
Water-strider. The Betrux can walk on liquids as though they were solid ground, using slender legs covered with tiny hairs.
Extremophile. The Betrux is able to exist comfortably in any environmental type, suffering no environmental conditions, although this does not protect it from actual damage types.
